Everything you need to know about EuropeanSwitch — the platform, provider listings, claiming your profile and partnership options.
EuropeanSwitch is a pan-European provider discovery platform designed to help organisations find, explore and compare European companies across industries and sectors.
The platform brings together providers, sectors and innovation ecosystems into a structured environment — making it easier for procurement teams, investors and analysts to discover trusted European alternatives.
Yes — browsing the platform is completely free. Visitors can explore all provider listings, sector pages, country pages and comparisons without any account or payment required.
Provider listings are also free of charge. Any European company can be listed on the platform at no cost.
EuropeanSwitch serves several audiences:
Yes. EuropeanSwitch is an independent platform. Listings are not influenced by commercial relationships — all European providers meeting our eligibility criteria are eligible for inclusion regardless of whether they pay for enhanced visibility.
Sponsored and enhanced placements are clearly distinguished from standard listings.
EuropeanSwitch is a discovery platform for European providers. To be listed on the platform, companies must be headquartered in Europe with majority European ownership.
This covers all 44 European countries including EU member states, the UK, Norway, Switzerland, Iceland and other European nations.
Yes — the United Kingdom is included. EuropeanSwitch covers all European countries regardless of EU membership status. UK-headquartered companies are fully eligible, provided the company has majority European ownership.
Companies headquartered outside Europe — for example US, Japanese or Canadian parent companies with European subsidiaries or operations — are not eligible for listing on EuropeanSwitch.
European-headquartered companies are fully eligible, provided the company has majority European ownership. If you are unsure whether your company qualifies, please contact us.
Eligibility is based on headquarters location and majority ownership — not stock exchange listing. A European-founded and European-headquartered company that is publicly listed in the US may still be eligible if the company is substantively European in its operations and ownership structure.
If you are unsure, please contact us and we will assess your eligibility.
Your company may already be listed — search for it on the platform first. If it is not listed, you can submit a provider and we will review and add it free of charge.
All submissions are reviewed by our team to verify European eligibility before going live.
We aim to review all submissions within 1–3 business days. You will receive an email confirmation once your listing is live.
If your company is listed and the information is incorrect, you can claim your listing and update it directly. Click the "Is this your company? Claim this listing" link on your provider profile page and follow the verification process.
Once your claim is approved you will be able to edit your profile directly through your provider dashboard. All changes are reviewed before going live.
If you represent a company and would like it removed from EuropeanSwitch, please contact us with your request and verification of your authority to act on behalf of the company. We will process removal requests promptly.
EuropeanSwitch is continuously expanding its sector taxonomy to reflect the full breadth of European industry. If your company operates in an area not currently covered by our existing sectors, categories or subcategories, please contact us at info@europeanswitch.com.
We review taxonomy expansion requests regularly and will work to ensure your company is listed accurately as new categories are added to the platform.
Claiming a listing means verifying that you are an authorised representative of the company and taking ownership of the profile. Once claimed you can update your company information, add a logo, correct any errors and manage your profile going forward.
Claiming a listing is free of charge.
Find your company's profile on EuropeanSwitch and click the "Is this your company? Claim this listing" button. You will be asked to provide your name, role and work email address. Your email domain must match your company's website domain.
Our team will verify your claim — usually within 1 business day — and you will receive login details by email once approved.
If your work email domain differs from your company website — for example if your company uses a different domain for email — please include your LinkedIn profile URL in the claim form. This helps us verify your identity and process your claim.
If you are still having difficulty, contact us directly.
No — all profile changes are reviewed by our team before going live. This ensures the quality and accuracy of information across the platform. We aim to review and publish changes within 1 business day.
An Enhanced Profile unlocks additional sections on your provider profile page — including Why Choose Us, Key Capabilities, How We Compare and a full company description. Enhanced profiles also display your logo on listing cards and receive priority placement within relevant category listings.
Enhanced Profiles are available for £500/year during our launch phase.
Yes — you need to claim and verify your listing before upgrading to an Enhanced Profile. Claiming your listing is free and takes 1 business day to process.
Enhanced Profile subscriptions are annual. Your subscription will renew automatically each year unless cancelled with 30 days written notice prior to the renewal date.
Once your listing is claimed, you can upgrade from your provider dashboard or contact us directly. We will set up your Enhanced Profile and send you instructions for completing your profile sections.
